    Community Action Program Belknap-Merrimack Counties, Inc. (CAPBM) is a nonprofit organization headquartered in New Hampshire. Established in 1965 under the Equal Opportunity Act of 1964, CAPBM operates over 70 programs aimed at assisting low-income families, elderly, disabled individuals, children, and single parents. The services provided include early care and education, elder services, energy assistance, housing affordability, workforce development, transportation, and health, food, and nutrition programs. They also manage area resource centers, food pantries, and senior centers within Belknap and Merrimack counties. In 2024, CAPBM served 254 people in avoiding eviction, provided utility payments to 10,303 individuals, served meals to both seniors and children, delivered food to emergency feeding sites, and assisted individuals experiencing homelessness.
