    Carrier Relationships — Network Graph

Map connected carrier entities across shared VINs, officers, phone numbers, and addresses to surface shell companies and chameleon carriers before they become your customer's problem.

    Carrier Relationships — Network Graph

    Overview

Shell companies and chameleon carriers cost your customers — and the carriers they buy from — millions every year. But until now, identifying connected entities across the carrier universe required manual investigation across disconnected data sources. That's what Carrier Relationships changes.

Starting today, AlphaLoops maps the network of connections between carrier entities across shared VINs, officers, phone numbers, physical addresses, and EIN patterns — giving your team a visual graph of how carriers relate to each other and flagging high-risk clusters automatically.

    How it works

When you pull up any carrier in AlphaLoops, you'll see a new Relationships tab. The graph renders all first- and second-degree connections for that carrier, with edges labeled by connection type. Nodes are sized by fleet size and colored by risk score.

A carrier with 12 trucks shares a phone number with 4 other carriers, 3 of which had their MC authority revoked in the past 18 months. The fourth is actively operating. The graph surfaces this in seconds — no manual cross-referencing required.

Connection signals we index across every carrier entity:

    • Shared Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) across registrations

    • Common officers, owners, or signatories in FMCSA filings

    • Matching or sequential phone numbers

    • Same physical operating address or terminal location

    • Overlapping EIN or tax ID patterns

    • Common insurance broker or surety bond relationships

    Use cases

Fraud pre-screening. Before onboarding a new carrier, run a relationship check to see if they're connected to any revoked or high-risk entities.

Prospect research. For your sales reps, Carrier Relationships reveals when a target carrier is part of a larger fleet family.

Account expansion. For existing customers, use the graph to identify sibling carriers they may not know they're related to.

    Availability

Carrier Relationships is available now for all AlphaLoops plan tiers. Access it from any carrier profile page via the Relationships tab. Graph export (PNG, JSON) is available on Pro and Enterprise plans.
